I work with PeepalCo, the parent brand of CoinSwitch (India’s largest crypto app) and Lemonn (stock investing app for millions of Indians), as Senior Director of Communications and Content. Previously, I was an evangelist at Freshworks, focusing on efforts around content and brand building to grow the visibility of the Freshworks for Startups program.
I’m the author of the business history book Xiaomi: How a startup disrupted the market and created a cult following, published by Harper Collins. I co-authored Digital Leapfrogs: How technology is reshaping consumer markets in India with prof. Vijay Mahajan and Dan Zehr from the University of Texas.
I’m the host of The Orbit Shift Podcast, co-host of The Use Case Podcast, and a columnist at Moneycontrol.
My views on startups and technology have been published by several publications including the BBC, The Hindu, CNBCTV18, and Deutsche Welle. I’m good at creating brand narratives for startups and founders ready to scale, creative direction, and writing.
In my previous avatar as a journalist and later an entrepreneur, I have helped set up early teams that dealt with product, design, technology, and editorial; raised capital, worked closely with writers and editors, set metrics and processes to track growth and performance, strategized and brought innovation to newsrooms.
In 2015, I co-founded FactorDaily, an award-winning newsroom.
I live in the suburbs of Bangalore.
